A Laechlin PhotoOn August 11, 2017 in her 90th year, Adeline Laechelin was called home.  She was born September 18, 1927 in Geronimo, Texas to Valentin and Ella (Bartoskewitz) Bormann.

Adeline was a member of the Daughters of The Republic of Texas, The Grand Lodge for the Sons of Hermann, SPJST(Sloranska Podporujici Jednota Statu Texas) and Friedens United Church of Christ.  She retired as the accounts manager of Sherwin-Williams.

Adeline is preceded in death by her husband, Harley G. Laechelin; daughters, Nancy Hajek and Donna Bomer.

She is survived by daughter, Connie Bagley (Donny); 5 grandchildren whom she loved, Jason Hajek (Irena), Josh Bagley (Elise), Kharley Bagley Smith, Robin Bagley Logan (Andrew) and Jill Hajek. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored,  Avery Kelley, Rebecca Hatfield, KayDee Smith, Flint Hajek, Adeline Smith, Case Hajek and Walter Logan.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Friedens United Church of Christ,  2555 Friedens Church Rd, Seguin, TX 78155 or CTMC Hospice Care, San Marcos, TX.

A Celebration of Adeline’s Life will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at Pennington Funeral Home.  A private family burial will be at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, New Braunfels, TX.

    I am so sorry for your loss. My husband and I knew Adeline (and Harley) for many years and considered them good friends. They are together now and leave many good memories behind.
