David Prado Perez
David Prado Perez, 55, a resident of Martindale, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.
He was born to Mr. & Mrs. Tomas Sr. & Anastacia Prado-Perez August 12, 1957 in San Marcos, Texas.
He worked for the San Marcos C.I.S.D. for a little over twenty-six years until he retired. He enjoyed working on cars, yard work anything that needed repairs, bar-b-queuing, especially spending time and making it a priority to be with his family. One of his favorite pastimes was to spend any amount of time with his son. A fanatic of the Dallas Cowboy Football team, Texas Longhorn football and San Antonio Spurs.
He is survived by his son, David Christopher Perez, of Maxwell, Ruby Garza, significant other, of Martindale and her daughters Ashley Garza of San Marcos and Lisa Garza of Martindale; stepsons, Gilbert Juarez, Jr. and John Albert Juarez; and step-grandson, Tiago Juarez all of Maxwell. Sisters and brothers, Virginia Lopez and husband Gilbert Lopez, Sr., Alice Riojas and husband Jimmy Riojas of San Marcos, Raymond Perez Sr., Frank Perez and wife Marty, Thomas Perez Jr. and wife Herminia, Louis Perez, Isabel Sanchez and husband Raymond and Gilbert Perez all of San Marcos.
He is preceded in death by his sister Isabel Perez, maternal grandparents Santos Martinez Prado, Ascension DeLeon Prado and paternal grandparents Cruz Martinez Perez, Telesfora Martinez Perez and nephew Ramon Perez Jr.
Family will receive friends at Pennington Funeral Home, at 2:30 P.M., with Rosary at 7:00 P.M., on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 19, 2012, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Martindale, with Rev. Fr. Mattthew Kinney, Celebrant. Interment to follow at Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.
