Eva Mae Hamilton of San Marcos, Texas, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2012, at the age of 82. She was born January 24, 1930, in Weslaco, Texas, to Marion King Betts, Sr. and Nonna (Fowler) Betts.

Mrs. Hamilton’s favorite hobbies were arts and crafts, gardening, reading and music. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her husband, Wilton Homer Hamilton, Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Gary Hamilton and wife, Jan; daughter, Karen Bonestele and husband, Nick; brothers, Doyle Betts and Marion Betts, Jr.; sister, Frances Fowler; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Calvary Baptist Church in San Marcos, with the Rev. Dennis Spire officiating.
