Nancy Martinez

On Monday August 16 @ 3:16 am our beloved Nancy left this world to join the Lord and all the angels. At the time of her death she was surrounded by beloved family and friends. Nancy was born on May 16, 1964 and passed away at the young age of 46. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Florentino & Fileberta Martinez, Juanita Duran and her sister Rebecca Martinez. She is survived by husband, Roland Gomez; daughter, Dana Salazar(Joe); and son, Larry Salazar (Ashley); parents, Leandro (Marty) and Virginia Martinez; sisters, Lydia Juarez (Ernest), Lisa Martinez; and brother, Marty James Martinez(Bertha). She also leaves behind her wonderful nieces and nephews, John Paul Juarez (Christa), Bianca & Amanda Juarez, Gabriela & James Daniel Martinez, and Jonathan Martinez. She leaves behind her adorable pet dog (Chula). A special thank you to her best friend Peggy Mireles who was always by Nancy’s side until the end and to the wonderful ICU staff at CTMC in San Marcos, Texas. Services for Nancy were held on Saturday August 21, 2010 @ St. Johns Catholic Church in San Marcos, Texas. Nancy requested that she be cremated and to have a memorial service at the Lockhart State Park at a later date.
